This is the first time I've used Premiere Pro to edit a video. I had invited a student who is studying in the film practice; she teaches me how to use and guide me a bit about the editing software of premiere pro. Owing to I've never studied this area before, so It is quite difficult to get familiar and operate immediately, so in fact, I have been stuck for a long time and failed many times, the result of my work and my expectation are entirely different.
In the production process, I encountered many problems and accidents, in the subtitles part, it can be produced inside the premiere pro, but because I don't know how to really use with premiere pro, not very smooth operation, also tried several times. Due to I used premiere pro produced effect fonts are too ugly, so I still used illustrator to make my subtitles. I made it all in AI, but what I did not expect was that I put the file into premiere pro, the size is out of the whole screen. I suppose it may be a file format problems because this one I eas save for resolution 300ppi, then I change to save another resolution, I also tried using 200ppi or 150ppi, and finally, an only 75ppi file can use it. But this one will be too small for the screen, so what I can do is to zoom the photo. However, the resolution becomes lower.
The first and second screenshot is my result of subtitle production done in Premiere P ro, which is completely different for what I expect, so I gave up for using this software to create my videos subtitles in premiere pro, so I change to do in illustrator.
This is my fonts made in illustrator. Honestly, my subtitles are also failed when I do in illustrator, because I just do as usual what I am done in poster design concept to create it, but in fact, if you make fonts in the movie, the font is needed to be really clear and easy too understood, or at a glance, then it may lead to the audience will not completely follow what are you want to present for. In my typography videos research, I found that most of the film's fonts will not stop for too long, and will quicks passed for next scene, it may stay only 0.3 seconds each, and the font will not be too small, nor will it be the format of the article to edit. So I finally use the big subtitles to show my ideas, this is also a video approach.
This film is used Premiere P​ro editing out. honestly, the overall image effect I am not very satisfied, due to do not excalty clearly know how to operate premiere pro, so the ability is quite limited. and in the final part I cannot be edited the sound effects, the final outcome did not reach me the feeling that I wanted, so I gave up to using premiere pro to make it, I change to use easier software iMovie to clip my video.

OF TECHNICAL STEP
I use the basic iMovie to edit due to I had previous experience in the production of a small piece video to my friend, although just used for one time, but is more understanding more than Premiere Pro. owing to my first-time experiences tried with Premiere Pro, after the not really successful results, I keep researching for many subtitles and sound effects films, after my researching I got lots of information and ideas, I slowly and clearly know how to correction in a better way, I think that the music and each scene, the whole beat must follow on the rhythm. overall, the first time my result is not in the rhythm, then my video and music, it makes feel like a separate thing, there is no feeling of integration. so I made an improvement in this part. In the beginning of the section, I shortened each scene to be in like 0.2 second for each so that they could keep up with the beat, the following video is my repeated iterations results, compared with the previous result, it is a very big improvement on it.

In my final piece result, I also improved the efficiency of my subtitles. for previous my Premiere Pro's production failed videos of fonts. At that time, I did not use some special effect for my fonts, looked several times, will feel quite boring. So I had iteration in this part, improved to feel a better form to present it, I changed an effect, is quite similar to animation, and I could make it the font scale back and forth. I have tried more to change the times after the revision, the subtitles part of the front and rear moving around feeling better, more activities, vivid, and the audience might be more looking forward to what is the next word.
As for the reflection part of my entire video, I think that because of my unfamiliarity with the editing Premiere Pro software, which led me to draw a lot of time on this for research, then it could let me not get a good cut. Honestly, I have not yet reached a time allocation for perfect balance, because I get completely unprepared to have such a difficult step on video editing, I think I should have experiment before my official first record video, then I can try to drop into the Premiere Pro software exercises that what effects I want to use for the clip, then I have a psychological preparation can be cut my final finished film, rather than to be like just jump into the final piece and start to learn how to splicing. But also regarding the time mange, so I have no way to be more sophisticated splicing part. Of course, my final completed film may not be able to the perfect feeling. From the very beginning, my initial idea was to animate my makeup products "jump" into the scene, but due to my limited skills, I could not do what I wanted, and I later changed to use my hand to let the products approach.
And in the music section, I research through this section for countless different genres of music, such as pop music, r & b, electronic, punk, jazz or hip-hop music. I used youtube, Spotify, and also when I Listening some good music then I will use Shazam to search, but actually, the music is really broad, it is quite hard to find a very fit with my ideas, also with the rhythm of the entire film's music. I suppose my only choice with the wrong steps is that I should find my background music e before I decide how to shoot or even when I was still storyboarding so that I could be shooting while listening to the music at the same time, I think this will also affect the shooting point, may the shooting angle or something else will more like the feeling of music beat.
In conclusion, I did not do very well at this point. I was first finished filming all the films, then I start to find the background music, but it was challenging and did not work out well. Although in the overall, I think it is a pity, there are some tricky parts that I can not do. However, I still have reached the level of what I expected and present.
About my choice of the background music, I chose this song Bang! By Love Lola Love, I suppose is the most match for my entire feeling. Because I think I have to catch my audience eyes not just through the image also have to use music attract them. This song's rhythm is the most match my expect to feel because my audience is between the female's young group of 13 to 23 years old, the first melody, and singing voice, I think very in overall, very young and lively, the young girl's feeling.
FOR MY ONLINE EXHIBITION POST
This what I want to show some in my online exhibition post, as I think in my online exhibition, I mainly want to take photos to present my entire ideas for my campaign. Because based on my age group, after some of my research, I suppose the age from 13 to 23 girls, they all like to feel in the form of photos, watch and appreciate. Due to some of the photo are static, I want to make some changes. Otherwise, all are static and may be boring. For others of my post, it can have some special effects. I've been to some exhibitions and did some research, look there how to present the works, or they do what kind of effects. So I have the idea that could let my photo make a little bit kind of animations effects. I research about one of the app called Plotagraph, which allows photos can move in part, it quite similar to the effect of a little animation, not just a static photo. Although this app works well, I still have a lot of failures, because if the angle is not good, the direction of that flow can get weird. I tried a lot of different directions, the left is my failure video, due to I did not adjust the flow direction, I haven't covered the other flow of the places, so the whole photo is quite messy.
For one of my post in my campaign, my source of inspiration came from the new image ads of ysl and Gucci their new post on instagram. I really like their layout and presentation are very interesting and attractive. I watch these it several times, also studied for a long time, I found that their approach is quite similar, they all use photos to cut into being in a short film so that the whole images are like the film, but in fact is a photo collage together, let the image can move.
MY INSPIRATION
This is my production process, but from the beginning, I had made a big mistake. I used a rectangle to make my font's photo, but I do not know it at the moment, is that when I put the pictures into iMovie, I found the error, the result all become impossible to the full version, so I had to re-do all, the format becomes horizontal a4 size.
I used iMovie to make my short clip video, I made alphabets in illustrator, after finished i put in iMovie to make it, then I set each photo to 0.3 seconds. this kind of form i suppose can interact with the audience a bit of feeling and might focus on it, It is one of my purposes, the audience will curious what the campaign wants to say about it, use one word and one word to present, that could lead the audience to look carefully or attentively, not just by the glance.

MY INSPIRATION
I used the photos to make a small animation because I always wanted to make my products that could be moving, cause I really want to this effect, so I had spent a little bit time to research on this area. Then I started taking photos and then throw into the iMovie to splicing, the picture cannot stay too long, I cut into for every 0.2 seconds, because have to build the feeling of moving the product, to show the feeling I want.
